A patented image of the TVS Apache RR 310S has been doing rounds on the internet and social media.
A patented image of TVS’ upcoming full-faired motorcycle, the Apache RR 310S has been leaked on the internet. The good news is that the motorcycle in the leaked image conforms to the test mules spotted so far.
The patented image reveals a large fairing with a twin headlight setup and a large windscreen at the front. The Apache RR 310S is based on the BMW G310R and hence borrows the engine, suspension, exhaust and the alloy wheels from the latter. However, the talking part of the Apache RR 310S has to be the instrument cluster which is just wow.
The Apache RR 310S is being manufactured at TVS’ Hosur facility and is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor which comes matched to a 6-speed gearbox. On the G310R, the liquid-cooled motor puts out 33.5 HP of power and 28 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be offered in a different state of tune on the Apache RR 310S. TVS is also aiming to retain maximum parts from the Akula that was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo on the production-ready motorcycle.
ABS will be optional on the Apache 310 and expect the price to hover around the Rs. 1.8-2 lakhs mark. TVS hasn’t yet put a word on the launch of the Apache 310 but expect it go on sale this financial year.
