TVS Apache RR 310 specifications have been revealed 2 days prior to its India launch, the 313cc motor produces 34.2 HP.
Specifications of the upcoming TVS Apache RR 310 have been leaked on the internet well ahead of its launch on the 6th December at the Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai. The fully faired Apache is expected to be priced in the Rs. 1.8 lakh mark (ex-showroom) and at that price point it will take on a host of motorcycles like the Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM RC 200, Mahindra Mojo and even the KTM Duke 250.
The 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled (with Oil Water Heat Exchanger) and fuel-injected motor develops 34.2 HP of power and 28 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This is the first time ever, an Indian motorcycle gets a reverse inclined engine. Top speed is rated at 165 km/hr and the motorcycle does the 0-60 km/hr sprint in just 2.63 seconds. The bike is expected to a return a mileage between 25-30 km/l.
The TVS Apache RR 310 underpins a light-weight yet strong trellis frame and gets all LED lighting system (headlights, tail-light and even the turn indicators). The Apache RR 310 gets Kayaba front up-side down forks and rear monoshock. Braking duties are via discs at both the ends with dual-channel total control ABS. The ABS comes with anti-back lift as well as RLP (rear lift-off protection). Running on Michelin radial tyres, the vehicle has a best-in-class 180 mm ground clearance.
The fully-digital instrument cluster in the Apache RR 310 is vertically stacked and displays a plethora of information like lap timer, top speed timer and notifier, live and average mileage, fuel range, engine temperature, gear shift indicator, side stand alarm (vehicle can be started but not moved), most accurate fuel indicator with 72 points (usually 10 in all other motorcycles), speedometer and tachometer.
The TVS Apache RR 310 will be available only in two colours – Red with White stripes and Black.
