Priced at Rs. 2.05 lakhs (ex-showroom, Chennai), the flagship Apache slots itself between the Dominar 400/KTM Duke 250 and the RC 390. Though it takes a form of a supersport and TVS calls it a track bike, the motorcycle is a comfortable sports tourer, thanks to the riding stance and the high-set handlebar. The Apache RR 310 borrows the 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor with fuel-injection from the BMW G310R. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, the powerplant makes 33.5 HP of power and 27.3 NM of torque.
The Apache RR 310 is equipped with dual-channel ABS, Kayaba race-tuned suspension, bi-LED projector headlights and a full-digital instrument console. The Apache 310 has no direct competition until the KTM RC 250 and the BS4 Honda CBR250R are launched in India.
