The TVS Apache 310 looks absolutely stunning in production form and will produce upwards of 30 BHP.
The TVS Akula 310 was showcased last year at the 2016 Auto Expo and will be launched as the Apache 310 by July. The motorcycle was recently spotted dyno testing in India in its production guise.
The spotted motorcycle doesn’t have any decals on it and could easily be mistaken for a Yamaha because of the similarity in design with the Japanese automaker’s full-faired bikes. The twin projector headlights get AHO and the fairing looks good in this matte black shade.
The TVS Apache 310 gets a large windscreen visor which will curb windblast to a great extent while the indicators are all LED units. The motorcycle features golden USD forks while the exhaust gets a chrome cover. The aluminium footpegs give the motorcycle a premium feel and the bike rides on wide Michelin rubber. The Apache 310 also gets wave discs and ABS is likely to be offered as standard.
The TVS Apache 310 is underpinned by the same platform as the BMW G310R, powered by the same 313cc, single-cylinder engine that outputs 34 BHP and 28 Nm in the German motorcycle. The Apache 310 might feature different tuning considering it’s a sporty model while TVS is expected to price it around the Rs. 2 lakh mark.
