The TVS Apache 180 Race Edition has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 83,233/-.
Post the launch of the Apache 200 Race Edition 2.0 and the Apache 160 V2 Race Edition, the Apache 180 Race Edition has been launched in India priced at Rs. 83,233/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is available only in a Pearl White colour with twin disc brakes (front and rear) as standard.
For starters, the Apache 180 Race Edition gets only cosmetic changes. Apart from the new Pearl White colour scheme, the bike gets carbon-fibre theme inspired graphics and a 3D TVS logo on the fuel tank. There are TVS Racing decals on the engine cowl and the alloy wheels. The digital console of the instrument cluster features a 0-60 km/hr speed recorder, lap timer and service-due indicator.
Mechanically, the TVS Apache 180 Race Edition remains unchanged. It still continues to draw power from a 177.4cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 16.62 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 15.5 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. The powerplant comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
