Triumph celebrates first anniversary of Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X

In celebration of the first anniversary of the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X, Bajaj Auto Limited and Triumph Motorcycles have announced a special discount of Rs. 10,000 on both models. This promotional offer will be available until 31st July, 2024. With the discount, the Triumph Speed 400 will be priced at Rs. 2.24 lakhs (ex-showroom) and the Scrambler 400X at Rs. 2.54 lakhs (ex-showroom).

These two 400cc motorcycles mark the first products from the Bajaj-Triumph partnership. Manufactured by Bajaj Auto at its Chakan plant in Pune, the models were launched in India in July 2023. The launch saw an impressive response, with 10,000 bookings in the first ten days. Since then, over 50,000 units have been sold across more than 50 countries.

Bajaj Auto has significantly expanded its Triumph dealer network, growing from 15 dealerships to over 90. Triumph motorcycles are now available in more than 70 cities across India, increasing accessibility for consumers.

The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X have garnered a strong following in India, praised for their build quality and attractive pricing. While both motorcycles share the same platform, each offers a unique character. The Speed 400 is a retro-styled roadster, whereas the Scrambler 400X is an entry-level scrambler designed for both on-road and off-road use. The Scrambler 400X features a larger 19-inch front wheel, block pattern tyres and longer suspension travel of 150 mm.

Both bikes are powered by a 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 39.5 BHP at 8000 RPM and 37.5 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. With its off-road capabilities and the current discount, the Scrambler 400X presents a compelling value for money option in the segment.
