Triumph India has begun accepting bookings for its new Trident 660 roadster. The token amount to book the motorcycle is Rs. 50,000/-.
Revealed only last month, the global product is soon be launched in the market and the British marque has even announced a special finance scheme with an EMI offer of Rs. 9999/- for the Trident 660.
This offer is however for a limited period and Triumph says the booking amount is 100 percent refundable until the price announcement of the motorcycle.
When launched, the Trident 660 will join the Street Triple R and RS motorcycles in the brand’s roadster range in India. It will be priced below the Street Twin and will become the entry-level model for the brand.
With looks to die for, the motorcycle also has the pace, for it is powered by a 660cc 3-cylinder engine that puts out 81 PS of max power and 64 Nm peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and has a slip and assist clutch.
It also has all-LED lighting, a TFT digital cluster, ride modes, switchable traction control and top componentry as standard. Being a Triumph, there will be optional extras like a quickshifter and plenty of accessories to choose from as well.
With the Triumph Trident 660 bookings having commenced, expect the bike’s launch date to be announced pretty soon.
