Toyota Urban Cruiser Offers Introduced For Early Customers

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced “Respect Package” offers for customers who have booked the Urban Cruiser compact SUV before its launch, as an early mover advantage.

Stating that the package has been introduced to celebrate the overwhelming response it received for the Urban Cruiser, the firm also said that it also wants to express its gratitude towards customers who have booked the Urban Cruiser even before the car’s prices have been revealed.

Customers eligible for the Toyota Respect Package will enjoy a no-cost periodic maintenance for up to two years or 20,000 km, whichever comes earlier.

The automaker states, “Over the years, customers have bestowed their trust in brand Toyota and this gratitude program aims to respect their faith in the brand.”

Based on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the Toyota Urban Cruiser will be powered by a K-Series 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine which will come with two transmission choices – a manual and an automatic.

Variants equipped with the automatic gearbox will also feature a lithium-ion battery and an integrated starter generator for added efficiency.

Changes have also been made to the exterior of the car to differentiate it from the Vitara Brezza. Some features include LED projector headlights with dual function DRLs, trapezoidal fog lamp design, optional 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and dual tone colour options.

Inside, there is a Smart Playcast touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and smartphone-based navigation, automatic AC, cruise control, engine start/stop button, electrochromic rear-view mirror, dual tone brown and black interior, among others.

Bookings remain open for discerning customers and the token amount is Rs 11,000/-. It can be done either online or at Toyota’s dealerships.
