Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG & Glanza CNG bookings open
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG launched along with Glanza CNG. The Japanese carmaker hasn’t revealed the pricing of the Hyryder CNG for reasons best known to them. Meanwhile the Glanza CNG will be available for Rs. 8,43,000/- & Rs. 9,46,000/- for grades S & G respectively (all prices, ex-showroom).
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder will also be available two trims – S & G. While the pricing will be announced later, the bookings of both the vehicles have commenced. Booking amount is Rs. 25,000/-, you can get your car booked across all Toyota dealerships or on their website.
The carmaker is calling it E-CNG technology while Maruti likes to call it S-CNG. The Glanza is powered by the K-Series 1197cc engine with a power output of 77.5 PS and 98.5 Nm in the CNG mode. The E-CNG Glanza returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 30.61 km/kg. It comes with the 5-speed manual transmission option only.
The specs of the E-CNG Glanza are exactly the same as the Maruti Baleno S-CNG (for obvious reasons).
The E-CNG Urban Cruiser Hyryder is powered by the 1.5-litre K-Series naturally aspirated petrol motor. Toyota hasn’t revealed the power and torque output of this car in CNG mode but we believe it’ll be the same tune as the XL6 CNG which produces 87.83 PS and 121.5 Nm torque.
The Hyryder CNG will be available with a 5-speed manual transmission and it returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 26.1 km/kg.
