Toyota has resumed full scale production at its plants in India. The Japanese automaker is now ready to launch the Etios Liva and has set 27th June as the day of launch. The company has been able to abide by the original schedule of the launch of the Etios hatchback. The Toyota Etios Liva will be powered by a 1.2 liter petrol motor which produces 80PS of power. A diesel version will follow in later with prices of the car starting at Rs. 3.99 lakhs for the base petrol.
The Etios sedan is the lightest saloon in the country. The hatchback will continue this trend and is expected to be very light. This will help the car to not only be peppy but also be fuel efficient. The Liva will be available in three variants, the J, G and V, with the top variant offering ABS and airbags to customers. Good space, average quality, fuel efficient engines and Toyota badge would be the strong selling points of the Etios Liva.
