The new LC 200 facelift gets revised styling while the cabin gets refurbished with a new dashboard and centre console along with a host of new features.
Keeping the spirit high for the festive season, Toyota India has officially launched the updated Land Cruiser 200 (LC 200) in the country priced at Rs. 1,29,01,326 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Japanese automaker’s flagship and ruggedly built luxury SUV gets a tonne of styling and equipment upgrades while a host of new safety tech has also been introduced on the model.
Starting with the exteriors, the Toyota LC 200 facelift gets a revised front fascia featuring a large triple-slat grille with chrome surrounds that extend into the headlights. The headlights are new as well and now incorporate LED DRLs. The bumper gets tweaked with a wider air intake and chrome inserts on the fog lamp housing while the bonnet gets new creases which add to the masculine profile of the luxury SUV. Things are similar at the sides while the rear profile gets revamped LED tail lamps with a new chrome bar joining the two and has the ‘Land Cruiser’ moniker inscribed on it.
Inside the cabin, the new Toyota LC 200 features an updated dashboard, new centre console, steering wheel, instrument cluster which also incorporates a large MID unit. The centre console gets a large infotainment screen that also doubles up as a parking and multi-terrain monitor. A 7-seater, the LC 200 offers a spacious cabin with comfortable seats and the latest update brings a centre headrest to the third row.
Other new luxury features on the new Toyota LC 200 include heated steering wheel, LED illuminated entry system, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), enhanced multi-terrain monitor cameras among others. Power continues to come from the same 4.5-litre V8 diesel engine that belts out 281 BHP of power and a whopping 650 Nm of torque. Power is dispersed via a 6-speed automatic transmission with full time 4WD offered as standard. Toyota is offering a warranty of 3 Years/1,00,000 kms, whichever is earlier.
