With the festive season commenced, these are the best times for all auto manufacturers to make sure their products are a hit. Most manufacturers launch new products during this period, while the rest make sure to garner attention with special or limited edition models. Making its bestselling vehicle extra special, Toyota India has launched the Innova Limited Edition (LE) model in the country. Limited to only 1500 units, the Innova LE will be sold during the period of September to November and is available in seven-seater and eight-seater options, with Euro III and Euro IV compliant diesel engine options.
Highlights on the 2014 Toyota Innova Limited Edition include a new Bronze Mica metallic colour on offer along with the ‘limited edition’ emblem at the rear, chrome garnishing on headlights and tail lights as well as new exterior body graphics. Step inside the cabin, and the limited edition variant comes equipped with a touchscreen audio system with DVD, CD, USB and AUX connectivity. You also get Bluetooth compatibility along with a remote control. Completing the interior package are the new dual-tone fabric seats and colour co-ordinated door trims that add a premium appeal to the MPV.
The 2014 Toyota Innova limited edition continues to be powered by the 2.5-litre diesel motor that produces 100 BHP and 200 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. In terms of safety, the MPV gets driver side airbag and ABS as standard.
