Toyota Innova Crysta removed from the website after HyCross debut
Toyota has removed the Innova Crysta from their range of products on the website. This happened soon after they introduced the Innova HyCross for the Indian market on 25th November.
Most of you might believe the Japanese carmaker has discontinued the Crysta after the new gen made its debut. However, Toyota announced during the press conference of the HyCross that they will continue selling the Crysta in its diesel form along with the HyCross.
They also assured the media that the announcement of the Crysta diesel bookings will be announced soon and the sales will resume after that.
We believe they discontinued the diesel variants to clear the petrol stock of Crysta and now that the HyCross is ready for its launch, they will resume the sales of Crysta only with the diesel engine option as most of the fleet operators across the country still prefer diesel powered vehicles.
The Crysta diesel is expected to come in limited variants on offer to avoid cannibalisation with the HyCross. There won’t be any changes in terms of styling or equipment on offer.
