Toyota will launch the Glanza in the Indian market in June 2019 and the company has revealed the first teaser of the premium hatchback.
As part of the Toyota-Suzuki partnership, the former is gearing to up launch the Glanza in June 2019. The Toyota Glanza is nothing but a rebadged Maruti Baleno. The Glanza is being manufactured at Suzuki’s Gujarat plant and dealer shipments have begun.

The Toyota Glanza is expected to come with the same features as the Baleno and the equipment list will include steering mounted controls, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, push button start, auto-dimming IRVM and electrically adjustable and folding ORVMs. The steering wheel is likely to carry a more Toyota-centric design though.
Mechanically, the Toyota Glanza will be offered with a single petrol engine. It remains to be seen whether they launch it with the K12B or K12C DualJet unit. The engine will be offered with a 5-speed MT as well as a CVT. The Glanza will carry a higher price tag than the Baleno and it will be positioned above the Etios in Toyota’s lineup.
