The car comes with exact same interiors as the Maruti hatchback except for the rebadged steering wheel, with Toyota’s logo on it. The dashboard layout, air-con vents, infotainment system, etc. are all exactly the same as on the Baleno.
Toyota has launched the Glanza with two engine options, a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 83 BHP and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 7-step CVT gearbox is also an option. The second engine is a smart-hybrid 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 90 BHP is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The V variant misses out on the smart-hybrid engine and gets a 5-speed MT as well as 7-step CVT gearbox, whereas the G variant offers the smart-hybrid engine and the 83 BHP engine mated to the 7-step CVT.
