The Toyota Fortuner Legender has been spied in Bengaluru during a TVC shoot, ahead of its launch scheduled to take place next month.
A premium version of the premium SUV, the Fortuner Legender will follow the 2021 Fortuner facelift to the market.
While the regular variant will sport updates of its own, for it will receive a facelift, the Legender will look quite a bit different and a touch more premium and will be sold alongside the normal version.
Looks-wise, the Legender comes with more sharper and bolder features. It has LED headlamps with DRLs, large air dam, sequential LED indicators, revised fog lamp housing, a redesigned front bumper and a slightly smaller skid plate.
Riding on 20-inch alloy wheels, the Toyota Fortuner Legender spied car also reveals that the model will come with revised rear bumper and dual-tone paint schemes.
Inside, the Legender variant will sport a dual-tone treatment with leather upholstery. Features such as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, 360 degree camera, ambient lighting, among others will be offered as standard.
Toyota is expected to throw in more features as the Legender variant will cost more than the regular Fortuner.
Powering the car would be a 2.8-litre diesel motor good for a maximum of 204 BHP and a colossal 500 Nm of torque. A 2.7-litre petrol option will also be available, while transmission options would be a 6-speed manual or, as an option, a 6-speed auto. It is expected that the SUV will have 4-wheel-drive as standard.
When it gets launched, expect the Toyota Fortuner Legender to be priced at a considerable premium, with its asking price set around Rs. 40 lakhs (ex-showroom).
