The Toyota Etios facelift has been spied while testing in Bangalore. The camouflage points towards revised front and rear bumpers. The car is expected to be launched in the upcoming festive season.
The soon-to-be-launched Toyota Etios facelift was spied on test by Ms. Iris Mathew Paul from Bangalore. The car was sporting camouflaged front and rear bumper which shows that they will be getting a design update. The changes will mostly be limited to the cosmetic attributes only, as there is no news of an updated engine and transmission.
The front fascia of the car carries the same V-shaped grille with the Toyota logo in the centre. The bumper must have undergone an update, and might carry a sportier look. Coming to the rear, Toyota seems to have added dome chrome details to make it look more appealing. The rear bumper too will receive an updated design, to keep the car fresh. On the interiors, we can expect an updated look like the Brazilian model. It could feature a digital instrument cluster, and an updated steering wheel.
The Etios has been long due an update, and the 2016 facelift should make the car more appealing and in tune with the times. The Etios’ major market however, as we know, has always been fleet sales, and that is expected to continue. The car is expected to get the same 1.5-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engines, with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
