The Toyota Etios Cross X-Edition has been launched in India, priced from Rs. 6.8 lakhs.
Toyota has launched the Etios Cross X-Edition in India at a price of Rs. 6.8 lakhs (ex-showroom, Kolkata) for the petrol variant. The crossover gets only cosmetic changes and no mechanical changes.
Exterior changes are body coloured cladding, X-Edition badging, black front grille and black fog lamp surrounds. The Etios Cross X-Edition gets a new Quartz Brown colour as well.
On the interior front, the car gets carbon fibre finish on the dashboard, new seat fabrics and a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice recognition and reverse camera display. Only the diesel variant gets steering mounted audio controls and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The Toyota Etios Cross X-Edition continues to draw power from 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engines. The 1.2-litre petrol churns out 80 HP of power and 104 Nm of torque while the 1.4-litre diesel puts out 68 HP of power and 170 Nm of torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Other safety features in the Etios Cross X-Edition are dual airbags, ISOFIX mounts, ABS with EBD and keyless entry. Toyota claims a fuel-efficiency of 17.71 km/l for the petrol version and 23.59 km/l for the diesel version of the Etios Cross X-Edition.
Price for the diesel version will be announced shortly.
