The Tork Kratos should come with better specifications than the erstwhile T6X
Tork Motors is all set to launch its electric motorcycle named the Kratos this month in India. The brand recently revealed the name of its upcoming bike on social media.
Known as the T6X until now, the Kratos was seen a few weeks ago in production-ready form, although it did have camouflage wrapping all over its brand-new body.
Having been under development for ages, the electric motorcycle will feature a redesigned frame, a Lithium-ion battery pack, an electric motor and chain drive.
It will come with LED lights, split seat, rear tyre hugger, alloy wheels, telescopic forks up front, monoshock in the rear, a disc brake at each wheel, and a TFT dash.
While the T6X was set to come with a 6 kW (8 BHP) electric motor producing 27 Nm of torque, a top speed of 100 km/hr and up to 100 km range on a single charge, the Tork Kratos should come with more range as the goalposts have moved now.
It should also be capable of hitting a higher top speed and should support fast charging in order to have a smaller charging window as possible.
The Pune-based company, which has announced that it is building a new factory, is set to begin deliveries of the Kratos in March this year.
