In July 2021 UV sales improved by almost 50 percent thanks to top models witnessing huge demand
UV sales in the month of July 2021 remained strong as ever and once again, it was the Ertiga from Maruti Suzuki which topped the charts.
The best-selling MPV registered sales of 13,434 units, while during the same period, the Eeco, also from Maruti, found 10,057 new homes.
The Mahindra Bolero was third in the July 2021 UV sales chart with 6491 unit sales, followed by the Innova Crysta which was driven home by close to 6100 individuals.
Then came the XL6 from Maruti. The country’s top automaker sold 4190 units of the MPV. Sales of the car should improve well when a diesel variant is introduced early next year.
The Triber from Renault has been struggling of late and that was the case in July as well, for, only 2815 individuals purchased the compact MPV.
Kia’s premium MPV, the Carnival found 358 new homes, while the Marazzo from Mahindra registered sales of 279 units this past month.
In total, the UVs in the list registered sales of 43,761 units combined in July, which was a 48 percent increase in sales in comparison to the same period a year before.
