Occupying the top position of the 200-500cc bike sales chart in February 2021 was the Royal Enfield Classic 350 that found 36,025 takers. It sets the tone for the whole list that is dominated by products from the 2-wheeler manufacturer.
Second place in the list goes to Bajaj Auto’s Pulsar 180 and NS200 duo which recorded 11,643 unit sales, closely followed by the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 with 11,044 unit sales.
The most recent all-new product in Enfield’s range, the Meteor 350, comes fourth with 8624 units, beating the Bullet 350 ES, which sits in the fifth spot of February 2021 200-500cc bike sales with 6477 units to its name.
The Pulsar 220F from Bajaj continues its consistent run, finding 4938 takers this past month, while Honda’s H’ness CB350, arguably crippled by the limited number of Big Wing dealerships, was ridden home by 3268 individuals. The CB350RS’ contribution to this figure is unknown.
Hero MotoCorp retailed 2861 units of the Xpulse 200 in February and with the Xpulse 200T having been relaunched, the bike range should effectively bring in more sales to the country’s top 2-wheeler brand in March.
Enfield’s recently updated adventure bike, the Himalayan, comes ninth in the list with 2660 units, followed by tenth-placed KTM Duke 200 that had 2431 unit sales.
Overall sales of the motorcycles in the list stands at 89,971 units, which is a 18.5 percent increase over the same period last year.
