July 2024 car sales witnessed big changes in top 25, Hyundai Creta hits the top spot!
July 2024 top 25 car sales list revealed, Hyundai Creta tops the chart! It leads the pack with a big margin and records its all-time high despatches last month. Maruti Suzuki contributed with 10 cars in the list followed by Mahindra with 4, 3 models for Hyundai, Tata Motors and Kia each and Toyota with two cars in the list.
Hyundai Creta emerges as the best selling car for last month with 17,350 units despatched, YoY growth of 23 percent. It was followed by the new generation Maruti Swift, which takes the second spot at 16,854 units. The third spot is taken by the Maruti Wagon R, which is going strong, despatched 16,191 units last month. Big contributions in the Wagon R sales also comes from the fleet segment.
The Tata Punch has tumbled down to the fourth position last month after consecutively hitting the top spot for quite a few months. The Punch has witnessed 16,121 units with a YoY growth of 31 percent. The Maruti Ertiga holds the fifth position with 15,701 units. Thanks to its popularity in private as well as fleet segment, the MPV is doing well in the market.
With the introduction of the Mahindra Thar Roxx this month along with the Tata Curvv, we can expect to see some dramatic changes in the top 25 sales next month. While Tata Curvv might not enter the top 10 spot, it will definitely put a dent in the sales of its rivals including the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos and the likes.
