August 2024 car sales witnessed slight changes in top 25, Maruti Brezza leads!
August 2024 top 25 car sales list revealed, Maruti Brezza tops the chart. There are 10 Maruti cars in this list, followed by 4 cars from Hyundai and Mahindra each, 3 cars from Kia and 2 each from Tata and Toyota.
Maruti Brezza tops the chart with 19,190 units. It is way ahead of its competition which includes the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and the likes. Maruti Ertiga takes the second spot with an impressive 51 percent YoY growth, 12,315 units dispatched.
Hyundai Creta takes the third position last month with 16,762 units dispatched and 21 percent growth. The Creta topped the chart in July and has now dropped by two positions. Maruti Wagon R holds the fourth position with 16,450 units.
Tata Punch is at the fifth spot with 15,643 units. The micro SUV was leading the top 25 sales for quite a few months early this year but the low demand for EVs has had some effects in the sales of late.
We can see some action in the next couple of months as the festive season begins in India and some of the new hot launches including Tata Curvv and Mahindra Thar Roxx enter the market with a strong demand and booking numbers.
