The top 10 selling bikes list for February sees the continuance of the dominance of the Honda Activa but the Hero Splendor is inching closer towards the number 1 spot.
The first month of the calendar year saw sales of the top 10 2-wheelers zoom by to post a positive growth rate of approximately 22%. Cumulative sales of the top 10 selling bikes in February 2018 have registered a slight downfall when compared to January 2018. The cumulative sales of the top 10 selling bikes in the last 3 months are as below:
* December 2017 – 8,67,409 units
* January 2018 – 11,17,372 units
* February 2018 – 11,06,296 units
The Honda Activa continues to rule the roost when it comes to domestic sales but the Hero Splendor isn’t far behind. With a sales gap of just 8605 units between them, what do you guys think? Will the Hero Splendor reach the number 1 spot soon? The Hero HF Deluxe, Honda CB Shine and TVS XL Super hold onto their third, fourth and fifth positions with sales of 1,65,205, 82,189 and 71,931 units respectively.
Standing at the sixth spot, the Hero Glamour is the second-highest selling 125cc bike in India after the Honda Shine. The motorcycle registered sales of 66,064 units in February as opposed to 75,533 units in January 2018. Clocking sales of 63,534 units, the TVS Jupiter is the second highest selling scooter in India after the Honda Activa. The Hero Passion, Pulsar series and the Royal Enfield Classic 350 sold 61,895, 60,772 and 48,557 units respectively in February 2018.
