Bajaj Chetak leads the least-selling 2-wheelers list for March 2021, having found only 90 takers and relegating the Suzuki Intruder to second place.
Having become the least-selling 2-wheeler in the month of February, the Intruder managed to find only 136 homes this past month, thereby continuing its consistent run of poor sales performance.
Yamaha retailed 222 units of the quarter-litre motorcycle, the FZ 25, after not finding any buyers for the product in the month of February. Up next is the TVS iQube electric scooter. With 355 unit sales, the vehicle once again defeated its rival from TVS.
Following the EV close by is the Gixxer 250 which witnessed 358 unit sales, while sixth place in the March 2021 least-selling 2-wheelers list was taken by the 650 twins from Royal Enfield which could only manage to find 378 buyers.
Seventh-placed TVS Apache RR 310 was ridden home by 435 customers and 482 people purchased the Husqvarna 250 twins in the month of March.
Bajaj Auto’s Dominar motorcycles occupy the final 2 spots in the list of shame. Once again, it was the Dominar 250 that fared worse than its bigger sibling, for only 732 units of the quarter-litre bike got sold in March as opposed to 936 units of the Dominar 400.
KTM’s Duke 250 and Duke 390 did not feature in the list this time around as they each saw over 1000 unit sales. Similarly, the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 narrowly missed out from being featured in the list as it sold 943 times over.
