Tesla is planning to enter India in 2019 and expand it further in 2020.
Tesla has always been the global leader when it comes to electric vehicles. The world is moving towards green mobility and Tesla is one of the front-runners of it. The company is planning to expand and reach various parts of the world. Moreover, Tesla is planning to enter India in 2019.
The company is going to expand its market beyond North America, Europe and China. By the end of 2019, the company’s service team will be not only reaching the metros but also various other populated places of North America, the eastern part of Europe, China and Japan. In 2019, the company also wants to venture into regions like India, Africa and South America and hoping to spread it further in 2020.
The firm along with Panasonic are together the largest EV battery producers. Tesla is going to partner with various companies to produce batteries. The long-term goal of the manufacturer is to provide affordable EVs in the mass market. And the price of the electric car can only be reduced if the batteries are sourced locally. Currently, the manufacturer’s portfolio includes Model S, Model 3, Model X and Roadster.
