Tata Motors has pulled the curtains off the new Harrier, Safari and Nexon EV Bandipur editions at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This edition has more of a stylistic appearance package, like the Kaziranga Edition, as opposed to drastic mechanical changes to the powertrains that could add to their driving capabilities.
Exterior Changes
The Bandipur edition is supposed to pay tribute to Bandipur National Park in Karnataka. Tata has given cosmetic enhancements to the cars to signify it. On the Harrier and Safari, the enhancements comprise a new bronze and black dual-tone exterior colour, blacked-out ORVMs, badging of models on the wheels and special edition badges of an elephant on the fenders.
Tata has promised to offer various accessories such as a roof box, luggage box and lightbar on the roof of Harrier and in the front bumper of the Safari. The Nexon EV has to make do with only the luggage box and carrier as the Lightbar didn’t appear on it. The pricing for these special edition appearance packages isn’t revealed yet. The alloy wheels also get a cooler bronze colour to match the exterior.
Interior Changes
On the inside, a new interior theme of Khaki colour is paired with new black contrast stitching. Special edition Elephant badges can be found on the front seat headrests. The interior includes a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, a panoramic sunroof and dual-zone AC. The safety features are also plentiful with 7 Airbags, ESC, ISOFIX child seat and ADAS.
Powertrain Options
There are no changes to the powertrain as the Harrier is offered with the same 2.0-litre Kryotech diesel engine producing 170 HP and 350 NM of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic. The Nexon EV is also powered with the same 30 kWh, 40.5 kWh and 40.5 kWh battery packs which offer a range of 275 km, 390 km and 489 km respectively. The Nexon EV can charge from 10% to 100% using regular AC Charging in 6 hours and 36 minutes at 7.2 kW. Using Fast DC Charging, it takes 40 minutes to charge from 0% to 100% at 60kW.
Whilst exact pricing remains unannounced, it is safe to assume that the Bandipur Edition will command a slight premium over the standard models.
