The 2017 Tata Tigor Styleback has been launched in India, priced from Rs. 4.70-7.09 lakhs.
Tata Motors has launched the Tigor styleback in India which is a sedan version of the Tiago hatchback. The Tigor has been priced from Rs. 4.70-7.09 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and dealers started accepting bookings for the vehicle last week itself.
The Tata Tigor gets cosmetic tweaks over the Tiago. The front fascia looks similar but gets smoked out headlamps. The major changes are to the side and rear of the car. The Tata Tigor measures 3992 mm long, 1677 mm wide, 1537 mm high and it has a wheelbase of 2450 mm. The vehicle has a ground clearance of 170 mm.
On the inside, the Tigor’s dashboard shares its layout with the Tiago but gets additional features like a 5-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system, rear parking camera and automatic climate control. Other features include steering mounted audio controls, MID and City & Eco modes. The boot capacity of the Tigor is 419-litres.
The Tata Tigor is available with a choice of 2 engines. The 1.2-litre, 3-cyl Revotron petrol engine produces 85 PS and 114 Nm while the 1.05-litre, 3-cyl Revotorq diesel engine churns out 70 PS and 140 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
