Tata has removed a few features from the XT to launch the XTO variant with a more affordable asking price
Tata has launched the Tiago XTO rather silently with an asking price of Rs. 5.48 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi), in India.
This new variant is positioned below the XT trim, the Tata Tiago XTO price is Rs. 15,000/- less as well, but misses out on a few features.
The features that the XTO variant will not get, in comparison to the XT variant are the ConnectNext infotainment by Harman, AM/FM, Bluetooth connectivity, USB and speed-dependent volume control.
Other than missing out on these features, the Tata hatchback should look exactly the same as the XT variant.
Powering the car is a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes a maximum of 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque and it comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Only recently, in March to be precise, did Tata launch the XTA variant (which now costs Rs. 6.15 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi), while in January, the Indian automaker had introduced the Tiago Limited Edition based on the XT variant.
