The Tata Tiago NRG is a rugged looking cross hatch that gets higher ground clearance and black cladding.
Tata has launched a more rugged version of the Tiago in the form of Tiago NRG. The NRG here stands for the word Energy. The Tiago NRG gets a huge number of cosmetic updates. The car gets black cladding on the front and rear bumper along with the side skirts. The thick black side skirts along with black wheel arches provide a beefier appearance to the car.
The black treatment on the roof and addition of black rear spoiler along with roof rails complete the crossover look of the vehicle. Apart from above, there are many other unique elements to the vehicle like black ORVMs, NRG badges and many more.
On the interior front it gets a new colour for the upholstery. The upholstery is grey in colour with some orange accents. The centre of the dashboard houses a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment with Harman audio system. The Tiago NRG comes with three colour options – Malabar Silver, Canyon Orange and Fuji White.
The Tiago NRG comes with a higher ground clearance of 180 mm. It will be available with both 1.2-litre petrol and 1.0-litre diesel engine options which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Tiago NRG will go head to head with Maruti Celerio X. The petrol Tiago NRG is priced at Rs. 5.54 lakhs while the diesel variant is available at Rs. 6.38 lakhs (all price, ex-showroom).
