Along with a new AMT gearbox, Tata is also offering a set of new features with the Tiago NRG.
Tata has launched he Tiago NRG AMT version, priced at Rs. 6.15 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). A premium of Rs. 45,000/- over the manual variant will get you an AMT gearbox and a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system from Harman. This 7-inch infotainment system also features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The NRG is basically a revamped version of the Tiago XZA model offering rugged looks. It sits higher than the latter by 10 mm and comes with cosmetic tweaks. To make the car look rugged, Tiago NRG comes with front and rear skid plates, blacked out grille, roof rails, dual-tone alloy wheels and body cladding.
The car also comes with power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, air-con, touchscreen infotainment system with a new 7-inch display with smartphone connectivity.
The car is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine that produces 85 BHP and 114 Nm of torque. Whereas, the 1.05-litre, three-cylinder Revotorq diesel gives out 70 BHP and 140 Nm of torque. Both the engine options are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox but the petrol engine gets the new AMT gearbox too. AMT is currently not available with the diesel trim.
