The Tata Tiago AMT has been launched in India, available with the petrol engine only.
After a lot of waiting, Tata Motors has now launched the Tiago AMT in India. The Tata Tiago AMT is offered on the XZA trim with the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, Revotron petrol engine. The car will be available at all dealerships starting today and it is priced at Rs. 5.73 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Tata Tiago gets a 5-speed AMT unit that has Automatic (Drive), Neutral, Reverse and Manual modes. It also gets a creep function. The vehicle also gets two driving modes – City and Sport. The petrol engine produces 84 HP of power at 6000 RPM and 114 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM. The engine has an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of 23.84 km/l for the manual variant and it is likely to be the same for the AMT as well.
