Tata Motors will showcase a sports car, inspired by Alfa Romeo, at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
Tata Motors has some very aggressive plans, the Tiago has been a success, the Kite 5 (could be called Altigo) will be launched by mid-2017 and will also get an AMT option while the Hexa is scheduled for launch later this month. The Tata Nexon which is a highly awaited compact SUV will be launched by the end of the year while the Q501 premium SUV will go on sale next year.
Tata Motors is known to make concept cars and showcase them at big motor shows and the 2017 Geneva Motor Show will be no different. The Indian automaker will showcase a sports car concept in March at the upcoming event. The vehicle hasn’t been revealed yet but draws design inspiration from Alfa Romeo. It will feature a rear mounted engine.
The Tata Sports Car Concept is developed by Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) which is based out of the UK. It won’t be put into production anytime in the distant future but showcases what the company is capable of doing. The Indica maker will also showcase its existing lineup of cars at Geneva.
