Tata Signa 4825TK Price Is Rs. 52.81 Lakhs, Becomes Largest Tipper

Tata Signa 4825.TK Tipper Truck Launch — It has been built to perform large-scale surface transportation operations

Tata Motors Signa 4825TK tipper has been launched with a price tag of Rs. 52.81 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai and inclusive of GST). The manufacturer calls it India’s largest and first 47.5 tonne multi-axle tipper truck.

Introduced to perform surface transportation of coal and construction aggregates, the Tata Signa 4825.TK is powered by a Cummins ISBe 6.7-litre BS6 engine producing 250 HP and 950 Nm torque at 1000-1700 RPM.

It is mated to a heavy duty G1150 9-speed gearbox, with 430 mm clutch and Tata claims the gear ratios have been chosen specifically for surface transportation and to reduce fuel consumption.

Equipped with three drive modes – Light, Medium and Heavy, the Tata Signa 4825.TK price also gets customers a 29 cubic metre tipper body from the factory. Further, it is available in two configurations, as a 10×4 and 10×2, to offer flexibility to customers.

The Tata Signa 4825.TK price will also get customers features such as sleeper cabin, tilt and telescopic steering system, 3-way mechanically-adjustable driver seat, air conditioning and Hill Start Assist (HSA).

Moreover, the truck’s cabin, the manufacturer says, has been crash-tested, while the vehicle is equipped with sensors to detect and prevent it from toppling, for added safety.

Fleet Edge, Tata Motors’ digital solution for optimal fleet management is fitted as standard, while the vehicle also gets a warranty of 6 years/6 lakh kilometres.
