The Tata Nexon was launched in 2017 and now Tata Motors has achieved a new milestone of 7 lakh sales of the Nexon. After its launch in 2017, the Nexon was given a mid-life update in 2020, post which it received a major update in 2023.
It was in 2018 when the Nexon received a 5-star crash test rating from Global NCAP and it was the first Indian vehicle to achieve this. With this began the trend of Indian customers taking safety seriously. The Global NCAP norms were updated in 2022 and the updated Nexon in 2023 again scored 5-stars. Last week, the latest iteration of the Nexon EV also received a 5-star rating from the Bharat NCAP.
The current iteration of the Nexon is sold in as many as 98 variants for ICE and 10 variants for EV! The vehicle is offered with multiple engine and transmission options along with different feature configurations and optional packs. The Nexon ICE is priced from Rs. 9.40-19.08 Lakhs while the Nexon EV costs Rs. 15.33-20.67 Lakhs (all prices On-Road, Mumbai).
