Tata Safari is now available with the Tropical Mist colour option across all the trims.
The Tata Safari, when launched in February 2021, was introduced withTropical Mist, Royale Blue, Daytona Grey and Orcus White colour options. However, the Tropical Mist shade was exclusive to the range-topping Adventure Persona edition.
The Adventure Persona edition came with black exterior embellishments and brown interior upholstery to differentiate it with the other regular trims.
Now after seeing a huge demand for the Tropical Mist colour, the Indian carmaker is offering this colour across all the variants of the Tata Safari. This is a good move considering there are very limited colour options for the SUV.
There are no other updates to the SUV. It is currently priced in the range of Rs. 14.99 lakhs to Rs. 22.01 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. It is available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
It will be facing the heat from the Mahindra XUV700 which is being introduced with an aggressive price tag undercutting the Safari. Also, the Mahindra will be offering both petrol and diesel engine options along with a list of new features including ADAS, which the Safari doesn’t offer.
