The GTS Concept of the Tata Safari is a more sporty version of the popular SUV
Here we have the Tata Safari GTS Concept, made by a designer and posted online as a feast for the eyes of everyone who happen to see it, which looks rather sporty and, in many ways, pleasing.
Finished in Porsche’s Carmine Red colour, the Tata Safari GTS Concept is devoid of chrome or metallic elements on the exterior and features gloss black trim instead.
Thus, the radiator grille, headlamp surrounds, skid plates, window garnish are all blacked. The roof rails have received the same treatment too.
The stock alloy wheels have been chucked in favour of Rotiform LAS-R rims that sport matte black finish and centre caps with the Tata logo. They are wrapped in what look like semi-slick tyres.
To go with the sporty demeanour, the concept also showcases an adjustable suspension system using which it can be lowered to make the ride a bit more sporty.
Launched earlier this year, the new Safari has been doing pretty good numbers every month. It and the Tata Harrier have been giving quite a bit of trouble to the Hector models from MG Motor.
Since the Safari GTS Concept does look smashing, could we expect Tata to add a red colour to the Safari’s palette? Only time will tell. But, we can expect a Safari Dark Edition to be unveiled soon though.
The 3-row SUV primarily rivals the recently launched Hyundai Alcazar and MG Hector Plus, while the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 should prove to be a very potent foe to the new Safari too.
