Tata Punch trims updated, special edition variants including Camo discontinued
Tata Motors has recently updated the Punch lineup, bringing in a blend of new trims and discontinuations. This move comes as part of the company’s strategic efforts to fine tune its product offerings in response to evolving market demands.
Among the notable changes, Tata Motors has introduced three fresh variants to the Punch lineup. These include the Creative MT, Creative Flagship MT and Creative AMT, priced at Rs. 8.85 lakhs, Rs. 9.60 lakhs and Rs. 9.45 lakhs respectively (all prices, ex-showroom).
However, alongside the introduction of new variants, Tata Motors has also discontinued ten existing ones. Notably, all Camo trims, such as the Camo Adventure MT, Camo Adventure Rhythm MT and Camo Adventure AMT, have been phased out. Additionally, variants like the Creative dual-tone and Creative Flagship MT dual-tone have been discontinued.
The Tata Punch continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 87 BHP at 6000 RPM and 115 Nm of torque at 3150-3350 RPM. This engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. Tata Motors continues to offer the CNG option with manual transmission. We believe they will soon introduce AMT with the CNG variants of the Punch just like they did with the Tiago and Tigor iCNG models.
The Indian carmaker has also revised the pricing of their electric vehicles including Tata Nexon EV and Tiago EV. They have reduced the prices by upto Rs. 1.20 lakhs. The company claims they have passed on battery price reduction benefits to the customers.
