Tata Punch EV price revealed, available in 5 personas and 2 battery pack options
Tata Punch EV launched with a starting price of Rs. 10.99 lakhs (ex-showroom and introductory). The pure electric version of the Punch is available in 2 battery pack options and 5 personas – smart, smart+, adventure, empowered and empowered+. You can have a look at the complete price table below.
The 25 kWh battery pack offers a claimed driving range of 315 km on full charge. It is powered by a 60 kW motor that produces 114 Nm of torque.
The 35 kWh long range battery pack offers a claimed range of 421 km on full charge. It has a 90 kW motor with 190 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 km/hr in 9.5 seconds and has a top speed of 140 km/hr. DC fast charging of 10-80% can be done in 56 minutes. The Long Range variants are available with the option of a 3.3kW and a 7.2 kW AC fast charger that can be installed either at home or at the workplace. The battery pack is IP67 rated and comes with a standard warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km.
The styling of the Tata Punch EV has been tweaked to differentiate it with the ICE variant. It comes with a new front fascia that looks inspired by the Nexon facelift. It gets bi-functional LED lights with Welcome and Goodbye signature.
The interior has been updated as well. It comes with a 10.2-inch infotainment system along with a 10.2-inch digital cluster. There is the latest 2-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo. It is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charger, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, auto dimming IRVM, ventilated leatherette seats, electric sunroof, mood lights, air purifier, etc.
Some of the new equipment for the Punch includes paddle shifters with 4-level multi mode regen, electronic parking brake with auto hold function, 360 degree parking camera, blind spot monitor, etc.
The Punch EV comes with 16-inch wheels, 190 mm ground clearance, 350 mm water wading capacity, 90-degree opening doors, 366-litre boot space, 14-litre frunk, etc.
In terms of safety, the Punch EV gets 6 airbags, ESP and ISOFIX as standard across all variants.
