Tata Nexon EV and regular Nexon now get the much awaited Dark variants
Tata Motors has introduced the Nexon Dark and Nexon EV Dark editions with prices starting from Rs. 11.45 lakhs and Rs. 19.49 lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively.
The Nexon Dark edition comes at a premium of around Rs. 35,000/- over the mid-spec Creative trim, offering customers a choice between the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with both manual and automatic transmission options or the 1.5-litre diesel engine with manual and AMT choices.
Noteworthy features include wireless charging, a concealed capacitive touch panel for the automatic climate control and black leatherette seats, among others.
In contrast, the Nexon EV Dark edition, priced approximately Rs. 10,000/- higher than the top-spec Empowered + LR variant, comes with 145 HP electric motor and a 40.5kWh battery pack, offering an ARAI-tested range of 465 km.
Meanwhile, Tata’s flagship SUVs, the Harrier and Safari, continue to get the Dark editions, retaining their prices since their launch last October. Priced from Rs. 19.99 lakhs and Rs. 20.69 lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively.
The Harrier Dark edition is available across mid-spec Pure and Adventure variants, along with the top-spec Fearless variant, while the Safari Dark edition caters to mid-tier Pure, Adventure and top-spec Accomplished variants. Both SUVs are powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine with manual and torque converter automatic gearbox options.
