The Tata Nexon facelift gets new features and styling with BS6 petrol and diesel engines.

The Tata Nexon facelift has been launched with a starting price of Rs. 6.95 lakhs for the petrol variants and Rs. 8.45 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom) for the diesel variants.
The Nexon facelift styling was first revealed with its EV sibling and the ICE version too gets similar updates. The front profile now looks more sharp thanks to the revised grille, new bumper and headlights. The front-end is pedestrian safety compliant too.
The side profile and rear is more or less the same but it comes with new alloys, tail lights and revised rear bumper. The new Nexon is available in these colour options – Foliage, Flame Red, Tectonic Blue, Pure Silver, Daytona Grey and Calgary White along with dual tone roof options for all colours.
The interior of the Nexon gets new upholstery, new steering wheel and all-digital instrument cluster. One of the key highlights of the Nexon facelift includes iRA Tech connected car technology, it comes with features such as What3Words, Connected Safety, Natural Voice system and the Tribes app.
The voice system is unique as it is compatible with native Hindi, English & Hinglish language conversations and
more regional languages will be added soon. Customers can interact with infotainment using Hindi conversations for
Climate Control, Music, Calls, Vehicle Fuel and Range information.
Some of the other features include electric sunroof, tyre pressure monitoring system, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, reverse camera assist, etc.
In terms of safety, the Nexon has already got a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. The carmaker is now offering Electronic Stability program as standard across all variants. It also comes with ABS, EBD, Corner Stability Control, ISOFIX and dual front airbags as standard.
The Tata Nexon facelift continues with both its 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms. The 1.2-litre petrol produces 110 PS at 5000 RPM and 170 Nm at 1750-4000 RPM.
The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 110 PS at 3750 RPM and 260 Nm at 1500-2750 RPM. Both the engines are offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT gearbox options. The Nexon also gets Eco, City and Sport modes.
