Tata Nexon facelift interiors leaked ahead of launch
Tata Nexon facelift launch is just around the corner and the compact SUV’s interiors have been leaked, revealing new details of the updated model.
The video clearly shows the new 10.25-inch dual screens on offer for the infotainment system and the all-digital instrument cluster. It comes with the latest user interface offering multiple information and features.
The most interesting bit here is the new 360 degree parking camera. It looks inspired by the latest Land Rovers and offers multiple camera views with a similar interface. It has a top angle view, side angle views and multiple camera views that you can click and access. You can also rotate the view by swiping on the car through the touchscreen.
We have already seen the new two-spoke steering wheel in the spy shots before but here you can witness the backlit logo on the steering pad.
The centre console looks neat with new touch sensitive buttons for the HVAC. It also comes with a small gear select lever, which is again inspired by the new Land Rover models.
Other features will include ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charger, sunroof, connected car features, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, etc.
It will be offered with the same 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The compact SUV will come with multiple drive modes as well. Tata Motors will be offering new 7-speed DCT automatic with the petrol engine option.
The new Nexon will get different variant names as we have seen with the Punch – Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless. It is scheduled to launch on 14th September. The Tata Nexon will compete against the Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and the likes.
