Tata Nexon EV pricing revised, gets updated variants with longer range
Tata Motors has revised the Nexon EV pricing as Mahindra announces the launch of XUV400. The Nexon EV now comes with a starting price of Rs. 14.49 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the EV Prime XM variant and goes up to Rs. 18.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the range topping EV MAX ZX+ Lux trim.
The Nexon EV is now up to Rs. 1 lakh cheaper (depends on variant to variant). The Indian automaker has also increased the range of the EV MAX by 16 km to 453 km. Current owners of the car can also get it increased by a software update from 15th February.
The new XM variant has been introduced in the EV MAX lineup, it comes with a price tag of Rs. 16.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). It comes with features like Electronic Parking Brake, Automatic Climate control, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with i-VBAC, Projector Headlamps with LED DRLs and LED tail lamps, Push Button Start, Digital TFT Instrument Cluster, ZConnect Connected Car tech with Smartwatch Connectivity and Rear Disc Brakes.
There are no other changes to the car, it looks the same from the exterior and interior. It will compete more aggressively with the Mahindra XUV400 which comes in the price range of Rs. 15.99 lakhs to 18.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
