Tata Nexon Dark edition to come with all black exterior and interior
Tata Motors has been making waves in the market with its Dark Edition variants, which have garnered significant attention from customers. These editions, known for their stealthy all-black exterior and interior treatments, have been particularly popular with models such as the Nexon, Harrier and Safari. While the facelifted Harrier and Safari models were launched with the Dark Edition variants, the Nexon was notably absent from this lineup.
However, Tata Motors is set to unveil the Nexon Dark edition in early March. This edition will be available on the Creative and Fearless variants. Tata Motors will be offering the 120 HP, 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual, 6-AMT or a 6-speed DCT gearbox. There will be an option of the 115 HP, 1.5-litre diesel engine as well, which is mated to a 6-speed MT and AMT. They will introduce the EV version as well with the Dark edition very soon.
The Nexon Dark Edition is expected to feature a completely blacked-out exterior finish, including black bumpers, grille, roof rails, alloy wheels and even a darkened Tata logo, as showcased in the Nexon EV concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Inside, you can expect a blacked-out dashboard, gloss black centre console, black leatherette upholstery and black roof liner.
In terms of features, the Nexon Dark edition will boast LED DRLs, LED tail lights, keyless go, automatic climate control, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 360-degree camera, sunroof and more.
