The Tata Nano has just completed the first phase of the Nepal Yatra, covering 10,000 kms and crossing 14 cities in Nepal. The 45-day long journey now commences the second phase from Kathmandu. The Nepal Yatra helps Tata Motors to publicize the Nano across smaller towns and cities, where digital media is not so effective. The Nano returned a mileage of 20.3 kmpl, which makes the small car one of the most fuel efficient in the country.
“The Nanos have travelled the length and breadth of the country and the car suits the roads and geographical conditions of Nepal. Customers have loved the Tata Nano and it is this confidence in the Nano that has propelled us to offer a warranty of four years or 90,000 km which ever is earlier,” Shambhu Prasad Dahal, CEO, Sipradi Trading (sole Tata Motors distributor in Nepal), said.
