Tata Motors has gone ahead and launched eight new products in one day, calling the event Horizon Next. However all these products are upgrades of existing vehicles. The company has facelifted the Nano, Indigo eCS and Sumo Gold to boost their appeal in the market. You might not want to know much about the updates to the Indigo eCS and Sumo Gold because we have already updated you with details and pictures last night. The Indigo eCS gets a host of updates both inside out, while the Sumo Gold now carries 19 new features.
The new Tata Indigo eCS gets an improved gear shift and dual path struts. It also gets a new diamond grille, smoked headlights, new dual tone interiors, dual tone bumpers, rear parking assist, dual float suspension, anti acoustic cabin and ABS. A new music system with USB aid and Bluetooth are among the new features. The car will also come with CNG option. The Tata Sumo Gold gets a high performance clutch, dual AC and music system with USB and Bluetooth. The 2013 Tata Indigo eCS prices start at Rs. 4.99 lakhs, while the Sumo Gold prices start at Rs. 5.83 lakhs and the Nano prices start at Rs. 1.50 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
The facelifted Tata Nano gets twin glove box, 3-spoke steering wheel, front and rear chrome accents, rear parcel shelf with speakers, exterior color coordinated speaker bezels and all new fabric for the interiors.
