Tata Motors has launched the facelifted Indica eV2, which gets minor updates to the exteriors and interiors. The company has also given additional features to the Indica eV2, namely clutch-to-start (one needs to engage clutch to start vehicle) and auto-drive assist (prevents stalling on a gradient, even when the foot has been taken off the clutch). The Tata Indica eV2 returns a mileage of 25 km/l and is powered by a 1396cc common rail diesel engine which produces 70 PS of power at 4000 RPM and 140 Nm of torque between 1800-3000 RPM.
Tata Motors has worked on the gear ratios of the Indica eV2, which are claimed to be improved. The weight of the car has been reduced by around 10 kgs. The exteriors of the Indica eV2 gets new head lights, new front bumper, chrome tipped grille, new alloy wheels, decals, new rear spoiler with integrated stop lamp. Interiors get the beige treatment with the top end variant getting wood finish center console, power windows, 4-spoke collapsible steering wheel, tachometer, keyless entry, Bluetooth enabled music system and USB port, rear parcel shelf, 60:40 rear seating, front and rear fog lamps.

Tata Motors offers the Indica eV2 in 3 variants – Indica eV2 LE, Indica eV2 LS and Indica eV2 LX. The Indica eV2 range starts at Rs. 4.01 lakhs, while the top end variant is priced at Rs. 4.88 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has reduced the prices of the Indica eV2 by Rs. 23,000/-. The vehicle is available in 5 colors namely orange, white, silver, blue and red. Tata Motors also offers the Indica with a MPFI petrol engine producing 65 PS and 99 Nm, which is also BSIV compliant. The Indica is available with a 2-years, 75,000 kms warranty (which ever is earlier).
