Tata Motors has kick started the Xtreme Drive in Mumbai, where prospective customers can have a feel of the Safari Storme through a specially designed off-road course. The company promotes the Safari Storme with the tagline “The Real SUV” and thus they are showcasing the real capabilities of this vehicle to customers, giving them a chance to put the SUV through various challenges. The Safari Storme VX 4×4 variant is being offered to participants, which features electronic shift-on-fly technology.
The Tata Xtreme Drive has various off-roading situations like Bumblee Bee, Dwindler, See-Saw, Rumblers and Bat Flight. These activities showcase the Safari Storme’s off-road prowess. We took the vehicle through all the above challenges and the Safari Storme performed exceptionally, going through all hurdles without breaking into a sweat. Keeping the box in 4L mode, one need not touch the accelerator, brake or clutch while the vehicle goes about climbing terrain effortlessly and also descending without any driver intervention.
