Bookings for the Tata Hexa will start on 1st November and the official website has now gone live.
The Tata Hexa was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo and the vehicle is going to be launched in early 2017. However, dealers will start accepting bookings for the car on 1st November. The official website for the Hexa has gone live and buyers can visit the site and enter their contact details to get a call-back from the dealer.
The Tata Hexa will be competing with other 7-seater cars like the Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra XUV500. The Hexa is rumoured to undercut its chief rival, the Mahindra XUV500 which celebrated 5 years of launch. The Hexa is loaded with a lot of features like 19-inch alloys, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, touchscreen JBL audio system with 10 speakers and navigation, Hill Hold, ABS, EBD, ESP and 6 airbags.
Powering the Tata Hexa is a 2.2-litre VariCOR diesel engine that produces 156 PS of power at 4000 RPM and 400 Nm of torque from 1700-2700 RPM. The engine will be offered with manual as well as automatic transmissions. The manual transmission variants will come with Super Drive Mode that consists of 4 driving modes – Auto, Rough Road, Dynamic and Comfort. In Comfort mode, torque will be limited to 320 Nm while in Dynamic mode, the ESP will kick in a bit late.
