Tata has launched a new XT+ variant of the Harrier with a price tag of Rs. 16.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). This pricing is introductory and is valid till September-end.
The announcement comes just a few months after the Harrier BS6 variant was launched. Tata says the new variant launch is in response to the positive interest the Harrier has garnered over these past few months.
However, come October, the price of the variant will increase. Also, the carmaker claims that its flagship SUV is witnessing consistent month-on-month growth now.
Harrier XT+ comes with a panoramic sunroof, that Tata says is best-in-segment. The sunroof comes with features such as automatic closure called global close, anti-pinch feature, rain-sensing closure, rollover screen with black coating.
Further, the Tata Harrier XT+ price also gets customers features like projector headlamps, dual function LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, eight speakers (four speakers plus four tweeters), push button start, automatic temperature control, auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers to name a few.
Standard safety features include dual front airbags, advanced ESP with 12 add on functionalities, fog lamps and reverse parking camera. The car also gets terrain response modes.
Built on OMEGARC platform, the Harrier XT+ is powered by a Kryotec 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 170 PS and 350 Nm that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
